I like the assumption that you first have to be spending money like an idiot to glean any savings on their little plan.

I can’t believe how hard people in NY are supposedly balling.
The link to Eat, Pray and Leave has reminded me how much I hate stories of the high and mighty who think they need to spend a lot to come to conclusions normal folks can get to over few cups of tea or coffee.
What did you think of the book? And the film?
I haven’t read/seen either, actually, just have been following the media hype of the movie in the papers. I think it’s a bit self-indulgent, especially since she was the one who broke up with her husband. And then she needed a retreat to get over him? Come on.
