Friday Links

August 6, 2010 · 7 comments

I had such a great birthday yesterday, right up until the part when all of our power went out and only came back at 10:00 at night.  BTW, this is where I was last week:

From blogs:

  1. Tiviet on a very cute wedding in Tel Aviv
  2. On the perils of the name Quinn by She Suggests
  3. I love this pic by Sonya :)
  4. Lindsay on love postcards

(why are so many of my links either wedding or Tel Aviv-related this week?)

From internets:

  1. Russia continues to be the worst country ever
  2. A roundup of books about marriage
  3. Pretty drawings of Tel Aviv
  4. On swimsuits
  5. Freelance writing bravado
  6. “Why I have not been to Maine for 20 years”
  7. A woman on the shekel?
  8. Visualizing the Fortune 500

Eeek! This is exciting! Thank you so much for reading my insignificant blog! And sharing it with people!

No problem! I loved your pics. Do you have a professional camera?

I don’t think so….is it bad that I don’t know the answer to that?

That’s a gorgeous picture. Will you have it printed at large format and framed?

You think so? I didn’t think it was that good, but I am planning on printing a couple that I am proud of. I’m finally starting to produce close-to-decent photography

I loved, loved, loved the links to the wedding and the drawings…! Thank you for them! The other day HaAretz ran a feature on the best places to get breakfast in Tel Aviv and my raging political fury and angst just crashed to a halt as they ran headlong into missing my home….
